In 2018 we spent over £7000 on park improvement and community events.
- Circa £4000 was spent to organise Tividale Parks 90th Birthday, Black Country Gala event, July 2018.
- £2250 on the new WW1 bench and bin, (installed January 2019), plus wooden bee and lady bird sculptures – yet to be installed.
- We brought the paint to bring the entrances back to the brilliant red and yellow they are now, plus the gold paint for the fence on Dudley Road West. Can you remember pink/bare metal/gratified they looked previously?
This year we are eagerly waiting the arrive of a community centre, and are raising money to enable us to put on more park events, as well as establish coffee mornings, book clubs, and community events and pay for any insurance etc we need.
We continue to apply for grants to support large projects, which take time (up to six months) and are approaching local businesses and exploring new ways to raising funds to ensure we can keep making the park a better place for all.
